Acidity is normally measured as part of a cleaning program and is indicative of the amount or volume of cleaning acid active in the water.
Standard procedures for analysis of acidity would utilise Kittiwake titration equipment, either via a drop test, a microburette or a titrator, depending upon the level of accuracy required.
Testing for acidity is typically conducted in buildings and facilties maintenance (cleaning) and bottle washing facilities.
