On-Line Particle Content Sensor
Whether it’s to check on the health of the machine, or an alert of changing wear patterns, Particle Content & Wear Sensor provides instant information, complementing your existing laboratory oil analysis programme, and helping you make informed maintenance planning decisions. You already know that machines give tell tale indicators of potential problems and that any change in the wear pattern is going to result in changes in the particle and wear debris levels. That’s why your oil analysis service includes a Spectrometric Analysis and ferrous density (PQ) result.

But how frequently are you sampling? What if a problem arises between scheduled samples? Wouldn’t it make sense to be monitoring more frequently?
Well now you can....The Kittiwake Particle Content / Wear Sensor goes beyond normal wear and particle debris sensors to offer unparralled size resolution. Providing a wear debris count for both ferrous and non-ferrous metals which you can monitor in real-time. This allows you to take immediate action on the first indication of change, helping you prevent failure, not just catastrophic failure.
The Particle Content Sensor can be mounted within any lubrication system on any type of machine. The sensor measures ferrous wear and non-ferrous wear metals, resulting from the wear and particle debris within the lubricant, using a combination of proven inductive coil technology, combined with smart algorithms to provide a particle size distribution count. You know that the more severe the wear problem, the more that the machine produces larger wear debris particulate.
