Manual Soot Remover Dosing Unit FG-K10957-UN
The Automatic and Manual Soot Remover Dosing Units are specifically designed to handle aggressive liquid soot removing chemicals used in harsh marine environments. They are available to marine customers through Unitor Ships Services.
A well engineered alternative to the automatic unit, it is
specifically designed to work with Unitor's Liquid Soot Remover. Unlike competitive products, it will not corrode, crack, jam or break neither does it require regular flushing or maintenance.
Soot build up in the exhaust of gas boilers can lead to low steam production or fires, and must be removed. Although modern low speed engines operate efficiently, a result of this is lower exhaust temperatures which reduces the effectiveness of traditional powder based soot removers. Liquid soot removers can be difficult to handle and are best used sparingly at frequent intervals - Kittiwake provides the perfect solution.
