Oil Test Centre


Oil Test Centre (FG-K1-100-KW)

The Oil Test Centre is a suite of electronic oil analysis testing equipment designed for use in a very harsh industrial environment. It has been independently correlated against laboratory test procedures and is approved by the Joint Oil Analysis Program.

The Oil Test Centre consists of an electronic console with oil test cells for Insolubles, Total Base Number (TBN), Total Acid Number (TAN) and Water in Oil. Configurations are available with either a Heated Viscometer or Unheated Viscometer. Test equipment is supplied in either a rugged metal case, or a fully portable, samsonite case.

Complements the Kittiwake range of sampling equipment. Replacement reagents or additional test equipment easily available and can be shipped at short notice.



Console to PC Data link

A simple piece of software is available with the Oil Test Centre console that allows the data to be downloaded from the console to a PC in comma delimited text format which can be read by standard spreadsheet and data base applications, such as Microsoft Excel and Access.

The downloaded data can be manipulated in any format required, such as lists, graphs or charts for sophisticated analysis of oil trends.


Recommended Configurations

The Oil Test Centre is available with various options covering tests for diesel and gas engines, turbines, hydraulics and gear oils. The equipment supplied can be tailored to your requirements, with configurations are available including the Heated Viscometer. Two ranges of the electronic Water in Oil test are available, as are two different Total Acid Number (TAN) ranges (see chart below for details).

The Oil Test Centre is supplied as standard in a NATO approved, robust metal case. However, portable cases are also available (see photograph, right) - simply enquire for details.

FG-K1-100-KW-A and FG-K1-100-KW-A-H are suitable for diesel engine applications.

FG-K1-100-KW-B and FG-K1-100-KW-B-H are suitable for steam turbines, compressors & Gearboxes.

FG-K1-100-KW-C, FG-K1-100-KW-C-H, FG-K1-100-MO-S
and FG-K1-100-MO-S-H are suitable for aviation lubes & hydraulics.
