Operating a diesel fuel power plant is a great responsibility and is especially difficult in remote locations. Efficient operation requires a programme of diesel fuel lubricity testing, reliable oil testing equipment, trained staff and the highest attention to quality control during daily operation. The diesel fuel and lubricating oil form a major cost element in the operation of every power plant and the & quality must be closely monitored.

The Diesel Fuel Power Plant Laboratory, as specified by Wärtsilä, is a self contained testing station providing all of the equpipment needed for analysis on site. It provides a single, comprehensive solution for diesel fuel lubricity testing and fuel oil analysis and includes:
