Compatibility Tester
FG-K1-500-KW
The Kittiwake Oil Compatibility Tester is possibly the most useful and underrated tool available for testing fuel oils. This kit provides a quick and extremely useful tool for engineers faced with the necessity to mix or blend residual fuel oil.
The Oil Compatibility Tester can be purchased as a stand-alone kit, supplied in its own case, or as part of a more extensive suite of testing equipment in the Fuel and Lube Oil Test Cabinet , or Power Plant Laboratory.
The Kittiwake Oil Compatibility Tester will:
The requirement for on-line machinery and oil condition monitoring is becoming evermore apparent as maintenance costs increase and production capacity and equipment performance is maximised.
While temperature, pressure and vibration sensors all have their part to play in a condition monitoring package, early detection of changes in oil and lubricant condition and regular, consistent monitoring of wear metal debris in rotating plant provide greater insight into the actual condition of vital machinery and equipment.
Kittiwake have developed a range of innovative and practical on-line sensors for wear metal debris and oil condition detection and monitoring.
The ANALEXrs range is designed to provide plant engineers and maintenance managers with real time, continuously monitored testing and analysis data for critical plant and equipment.
Suitable for use with slow, medium and high speed diesel engines, gas turbines, gearboxes, compressors, generators, vehicles and other oil filled plant, these sensors help to increase productivity, reduce costs and improve profitability.

The Kittiwake Oil Compatibility Tester will:
- Confirm that the fuel delivery will remain stable in the bunker tanks
- Identify possible stability problems before mixing two fuels
- Help prevent sludge deposits, failure of fuel handling systems and costly combustion related engine damage
